Frida is a visual artist working both as a freelance illustrator and fine art painter.
Originally from northern Sweden, currently lives with her husband and two sons in the small community of Habo, by Lake Vättern in southern Sweden.
Frida early found her interest in visual arts by drawing and painting at a young age. After an education in media and communication, many years of working in the graphic design and illustration field and the raising of two kids, Frida returned to painting in her 40s. By self studies combined with courses and workshops at the Florence Academy of Art Sweden, Workshops in Yorkshire and London Fine Art Studios she started to explore and learn the techniques of classical oil painting.
Besides the joy and passion she found in painting, she discovered that by practicing classical painting she also became better at bringing life and soul to the illustrations she created digitally on her computer.
Today, Frida creates digital images and illustrations on comission side by side with contemporary classical oil paintings.
