Finding Peace

My dad taking a nap on the kitchen sofa. He passed away in 2020. For the last seven years, he lived with the aftermath of a severe stroke. Before that, he was talkative and humorous, had the ability to connect with most people. But he also struggled a lot with worry and anxiety. As a father, he gave unconditional love. Sitting on his lap, tightly embraced by his arms gave me a feeling of complete peace and security that I carry with me to this day.
